Current Interests

• Generalization in neural networks: statistical and optimization aspects; Emergent phenomena

• Single/multi-index models and generalized linear models

• Sparsity and low-rank structures

• Algorithm design for problems involving above paradigms

In the past, I have extensively worked on error-correcting codes and information theory. In the future, I also plan to work on quantum error correction.
